The search for a desk

So the search has begun for a desk, is going to have to be one of the first piece of furniture I buy as I work from home a lot.  The contenders so far:

First one is from John Lewis, it fairly timeless and looks practical - but I also like the slightly industrial feel to it.  Would fit well with whatever else I decide to do in the study.

More stylish design, but maybe not one for spending hours at and possibility I won't like it next week!  From Made.com.

Rick Owens - want want want!!

So I'm completely and utter in love with every single piece of furniture that Rick Owens produces.  Since a t-shirt by him is about £350 I'm guessing that the furniture is way outside my budget, but I'll definitely be on the look out for stuff with a similar asthetic and vibe.

The chairs look like they'd be copyable if you could find a decent carpenter and buy some antlers off ebay...

I really don't want to know how much the stone (alabaster I think) cost to make this bed - it's all solid, no veneers!

I definitely want some gold things in my house, and even before I saw this skulls and antlers were top of my list.

I really really really want to find a carpenter in south london that could make this chair for me - black stained oak, with an antler.  I can picture it already in my bedroom with a small one triangular stool as above in the dressing room...

The fur is mink, obviously.

Colour Scheme

The overall colour scheme for the house is inspired by a Farrow and Ball suggestion from their website, here's the picture:

I've changed a few colours but below are the colours that are currently top of the list:

Manour House Gray (hallways)

Mouses's Back (kitchen)

Downpipe (lounge, part spare room)

Pitch Black (part bathrooms)

Off Black (dressing room, part bedroom)

Cornforth White (ceiling, and generally instread of white)

Orangery (interior of cupboards, larder)

Babouche (maybe accent in some rooms)

Agent Photo's

So here are the photo's from Rightmove that convinced me to go and view the property. Before I purchased it all 5 rooms were separately tenanted - with 10 people living in the house!!
